R.U.I.T. ~ Repetitive Use Injury Therapy An extremely effective type of massage involving a rhythmic stretch while applying pressure to relieve chronic pain occurring from repetitive use, stress, trauma or injury. Especially effective with Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, Tendonitis, Sciatica, Tennis Elbow, Plantar Fasciitis, Hammer Toes, TMJ, Shin Splints, Low Back Pain, Neck & Shoulder Pain, Rotator Cuff Pain, etc. RAINDROP THERAPY An exciting technique employing the layering of 11 essential oils along the spine and from the knee down. These special oils have different qualities such as antispasmodic, antiviral, circulation promoting, antioxidant, etc. This Lakota technique applies these various oils to clean the nerve receptor sites along the spine to enhance the ability of the nerves to relay proper information to organs and glands. The oils promote health, relaxation, energy and bio electric balancing. Good for immune system, toxin cleansing, mental/emotional balancing, stress reduction, tense muscles. DRY BRUSH MASSAGE An invigorating massage using your own personal natural bristle brush and face loofah. Increase blood circulation, eliminates dead skin cells, stimulates you while it relaxes the nervous system, lessens work of other internal eliminative systems, refreshes mind and body, smoothes skin. LATHER AND SLATHER A light massage with lots of moisturizing lotion applied to the hands, arms, feet and legs followed with an oil to seal it all in. Then an exfoliating scrub is used on the back followed with a hot, steamy towel, more lotion and sealing oil. Great for dry skin and the elderly. REIKI, THERAPEUTIC TOUCH, POLARITY BALANCING, CHAKRA BALANCING All these modalities use the directing of universal life force energy to assist the body in healing itself by balancing the body's electrical energies. The laying on of hands is either used directly on the body or in the energy field of the client. Any of these may be used in conjunction with the other types of massages above. They work well with the other modalities, and will help them be more effective by rejuvenating and renewing the cells and even speeding up the process of healing body, mind and spirit. JIN SHIN DO A Japanese acupressure technique that addresses both physical and emotional tension and pain. It brings about increased awareness of body and mind, reduces stress and balances the body energy. The client remains fully clothed. ACCUPRESSURE FACIAL TONE-UP A very relaxing half hour treatment utilizing approximately 40 or more acupressure points on the face, neck, hands and arms. It is very good for treating the sinuses, promotes relaxation, helps to induce sleep at night, relieves all types of headaches, and if received in a series of regular treatments can greatly reduce lines and wrinkles. Clients report it feels almost as good as a full body massage, yet the can remain fully clothed and no oil is used. CHAKRA PROFILING The seven major chakras or energy centers are assessed by the use of a pendulum. Imbalances are noted then balanced first by a technique called winding. Then polarity balancing is administered at specific pulse points to further the balancing procedure. The appropriate essential oils will be chosen and applied to the center's anointing point to facilitate the stimulation of the chakra. Visualization, affirmations, winding or gemstones may be administered as the final step of the treatment. CHAKRA RAINDROP MASSAGE Have the major chakras or energy centers balanced by using specific essential oils, massage techniques similar to the Raindrop Therapy, a relaxing hot compress, winding and polarity balancing. The Chakras will then be assessed by the use of a pendulum to determine if further applications are necessary for the proper balancing effect to be completed. CHAIR MASSAGE 10-15 minute massage on a specially designed massage chair. Client remains fully clothed as neck, shoulders, hands, arms and back are massaged using no oil. The chair massage is quick, relaxing and rejuvenating, beneficial and affordable. Since most problem areas tend to be in the upper extremities, these areas are easily targeted using this technique. It is also a great idea for offices, parties, exhibitions, fairs, meetings and gifts. REFLEXOLOGY BY RAY 45-55 minutes dedicated to accessing the entire body and addressing specific health issues by skillfully working on the feet and lower legs. Reflexology deals with the principal that every organ, nerve and gland in the body is tied to a corresponding area of the feet. Reflexology works wonders with stress, relaxation and circulation as you simply relax in a reclining chair and give your feet up to Ray's skillful hands.
